ePMO Manager

The Requirements To be a good fit for the ePMO Manager, North America opportunity, you will have: A bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Electronic or Software Engineering, or equivalent directly relevant experience. 5 to 10 years of project managementexperience in embedded electronics with a high level of software content and complex requirements; automotive industry experience is strongly preferred. Leadershipexperiencein project or customer-facing roles and a demonstrated ability to: Develop and implement processes and best practices. Train and coach others. Knowledge of structured product development and quality toolsets. Project planning and control skills, including requirements and change management. Experience working with dispersed teams, preferably in a global environment. IT literacy, including MS Office. Proven strong problem-solving skills. Exceptional communication, presentation and interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence others. Preferred but not required: A master's degree. Experience of sales for embedded electronics with high level of software content and complex requirements. Experience with program delivery for automotive customers. Bilingual skills in English and Spanish and/or German. You also will need to be willing and able to travel to US locations as well as Quer taro, Mexico about 10% of the time. Initially the percentage of travel may be higher, as you get to know teams and processes. The Role Reporting to the ePMO Director, you will join a global team that includes managers in Europe and Asia. The team supports engineering project delivery across all organizations on the commercial side, including product development, manufacturing, purchasing and others. As the ePMO is new, your role will be broad, including development, training, deployment and leadership around best practices. Each project will have a team dedicated to execution. As project management subject matter expert, you will help these teams: Define tools and processes. Incorporate best practices. Employ the tools and processes to best advantage. Keep projects on track. On a typical project you will interface with a core team of four, including: A Chief Engineer, who serves as design manager over several projects. A product design team lead, who serves as the leader of an individual project. Project resources, such as mechanical and electrical engineers. A software program lead, who oversees software resources. More specifically, you will: Actively lead the Chief Engineer, PDTL, and SWPL communities in implementing program management disciplines that enable program delivery success. Grow project capabilities within the engineering and software project leader communities, monitoring talent and performance, and providing internal and external training opportunities to improve capability. Enable tool usage with configuration, templates, and work instructions. Provide training and consultation. Actively review progress at implementing disciplines that enable program delivery success. If projects are not on track to objectives, or Product teams are not using the correct tools, the ePMO provides coaching and training to meet objectives. Use leading indicator metrics to identify early issues in engineering execution. Work with the PMs and software project leaders to correct behavior and execution before customers are affected. Provide lagging indicator metrics to leadership to enable analysis of organizational performance. Identify systemic root cause of poor performance and initiate corrective actions through organizational changes and growth/training. Lead Project Setup activities for new business wins to achieve 90 Day Process metrics. Monitor and control the regional programs via the Project Reviews, Metric Reviews, and Escalation Process. Provide talent and training to the regional teams. Manage headcount and staffing planning to company metrics. Lead implementation of process and tool updates to improve Vistway, VPDS, or CRE led activities. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
