Description / Requirements
Account Manager, Power Technologies Group, Van Buren Township, MI.
Responsibilities:
o Account Management for Key Transmission OEM & Tier 1 Accounts
o Products are Stamped/Molded Gaskets, Plastic Cover Assemblies, Heat Exchangers, Thermal Modulation Devices)
o Assist in development of and execute sales strategy and objectives
o Represent OEM & Tier 1 as voice-of-the-customer within Dana
o Responsible for customer metrics for represented products (quality, warranty, etc)
o Maintain accurate Revenue Forecast (+/- 2%25) for the account
o Assemble product quotations, gain internal approval and present to the customer
o Align with the customer and drive the relationship for increased product placement
o Understand organizational structure to effectively build relationships and engage customer
o Understand and communicate the technical value and manufacturing processes of the specified products
o Negotiate with customers on pricing, material protection, and other important matters (quality, delivery, timing, etc).
o Build relationships with customers at different levels, departments, and locations
o Oversee accounts receivable activity for ensuring recovery of costs
o Engage in product discussions and presentations to customer purchasing and engineering
o Interact with internal Dana teams to achieve objectives
o Maintain current knowledge of competitor s activity and significant changes.
Requirements:
o Minimum of 3-5 yrs in automotive OE sales or business development with proven results
o Strong understanding of complicated technical products and market knowledge
o Strong strategic planning skills, and market understanding
o Proven success in managing customers
o Previous success in problem solving including ability to identify and resolve issues
o Demonstrated strong business acumen including knowledge of manufacturing, finance and marketing
o Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with people at all levels within and outside Dana in a professional manner
o Domestic / International travel as required to support customer activities
o Strong personal computer skills, including experience with MS Office software and other types of specific business management software.
o Strong negotiating skills
Education:
o Bachelor degree in business, engineering or marketing preferred
o Masters degree (MBA) a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
