Job
Responsibilities:
Picking, sorting, and lifting unusable scrap from moving conveyors.
Cleaning the work area.
Maintenance of plant equipment.
Operating a Forklift.
Shoveling scrap into various bins for processing.
Other duties as assigned by Plant Management.
We currently have openings for General Laborers.
Position requirements include:
High School Diploma or GED 1-2 years of general labor experience.
Forklift experience is a definite plus.
Must be able to work a day shift or afternoon shift:
day shift starts from 3:
00 AM - 7:
00 AM, and afternoon shift starts at 3:
00 PM; 4/10 hour shifts, Monday-Thursday or Tuesday-Friday.
Must be able to work 12-hour shifts and overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
Must have a valid driver's license.
All applicants will be required to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical exam, prior to potentially being hired.
Salary info:
$17 - $17 / hr.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
