We are seeking a skilled and experienced Equipment Operator, John Deere 35G, to join our team as a 1099 worker.
As an Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating various types of heavy machinery and equipment to perform tasks such as digging for underground utilities, placing aerial cable and light construction work.
This is a part-time position with opportunities for career growth.
Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain equipment - Perform tasks including digging, lifting, moving, and transporting materials - Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment - Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning - Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively - Adhere to project timelines and deadlines
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Commercial driving experience preferred - Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of equipment operation - Ability to operate various types of heavy machinery safely and efficiently - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Ability to work independently as well as part of a team - Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions
