The position will require some light maintenance responsibilities as well.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Executes cleaning tasks based on checklists received.
Floor care (Sweep, vacuuming, remove debris, clean spills, and mop floors in designated areas including warehouse floor, office, outdoor area, and totes Maintain the cleanliness of restrooms (includes cleaning and polishing as needed) Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies) Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas) Maintains a clean area for all tools and equipment.
Assists in building a list of concerns for preventative maintenance and routine cleaning.
Reports any issues to direct managers.
Additional responsibilities as assigned by management Demonstrates attributes of Safety first attitude and mindset in the workplace always.
Able and willing to accept training as well as offer it.
Able to take direction well.
Job Requirements Custodial experience is preferred but not required Passing a drug test will be required Ability to lift 30-50 lbs Must be able to understand, speak, read and write in English in order to perform the essential functions of the job as they relate to comprehension of laws, regulations, standards, documents and other internal and external communications.
Must have strong attention to detail and organization skills.
