Responsibilities:
Operate a 600-ton press and set dies for efficient production.
Require experience with large machinery.
Verify job specification requirements before loading a coil on the line.
Assist in threading the coil onto the line and make necessary adjustments.
Determine the optimum safe speed for each job based on machine capabilities and previous runs.
Ensure proper documentation of paperwork and manage die changes with the assistance of the line helper.
Identify defects and disposition them following QSOP procedures.
Inspect the quality of processed material, including blanks, short feeds, burr condition, and ensure correct packaging.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in operating large machinery.
Knowledge of press operations and die setting.
Attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
Ability to work collaboratively with a team.
Strong problem-solving skills.
