Mission of the Role:
As Visteon continues to lead the industry in cockpit electronics and be at the forefront of electrification, this newly created role will serve as the organization's analytical leader to translate large data sets and complex processes into insights and optimization.
The Sr.
Manager of Data Analytics will be a true business partner with excellent communication skills at all levels of the organization, driving thought leadership and actionable change through best-in-class analysis.
Key
Responsibilities:
Leadership Establish global data analytics function - create vision for department, define organization structure, coach and develop team members, and foster a positive and proactive team-oriented environment.
Analytics Lead cross-functional projects using sophisticated data modeling and analysis techniques to discover insights guiding strategic decisions and uncover optimization opportunities.
Oversight of build, development and maintenance of data models, quality of data, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics supporting key business decisions.
Design and build technical processes to address business issues.
Responsible for the design and delivery of reports and insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics.
Lead and optimize processes for data intake, validation, mining, and engineering as well as modeling, visualization, and communication deliverables.
Business Partnership Work closely with business to understand analytical needs, including identifying critical metrics and KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to relevant decision-makers.
Proactively analyze data to answer key questions from stakeholders or out of self-initiated curiosity with an eye for what drives business performance, investigating and communicating areas for improvement in efficiency and productivity.
Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take action based on facts and trends.
Desired Skills and Qualification:
Undergraduate degree with a focus in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics; Master of Data Analytics, MBA or advanced degree in information systems preferred.

years of analytics experience in position monitoring, managing, manipulating, and drawing insights from data.
3
years of experience leading and managing a team.
Solid understanding of data mining principles:
predictive analytics, mapping, collecting data from multiple data systems on premises and cloud-based data sources.
Strong SQL skills, ability to perform effective querying involving multiple tables and subqueries.
Understanding of and experience using analytical concepts and statistical techniques:
hypothesis development, designing tests/experiments, analyzing data, drawing conclusions, and developing actionable recommendations.
Experience and knowledge of statistical modeling techniques, advanced analytics and implementing machine learning initiatives.
Experience writing advanced SAS code statements, models, and macros.
Experience working with and creating databases and dashboards using all relevant data to inform decision.
Proven track record of business performance improvement with tangible results.
Prior analytics experience with a large global manufacturer.
Lifetime learner with a passion for developing both professional and personally.
Reporting Structure:
This role reports to the Sr.
Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and will have direct interaction with Executive Committee, Operations Leadership, Sales Organization, and IT.
