Process Engineer

WHAT YOU'LL DO oResponsible for implementation of new products and processes into manufacturing.
oManage design and change control of equipment.
oResponsible for design and layout of processes, including sequence of operation, that incorporates TPS/Lean philosophies.
oOversee installation and implementation of new process technologies.
oDevelop instructions and procedures in support in processes.
oMonitor process performance and initiate actions to optimize Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
oCoordinate/facilitate/analyze process design of experiments (DOEs).
oCoordinate process optimization and trial runs.
oManage Process Change System.
oSupport APQP and VA/VE activities.
oDevelop appropriate APQP documentation in support of the launch process, i.
e.
, control plan, process sheet, etc.
oMaintain records as required by the E.
C.
R.
System.
oEnsure that production processes are worked out under the set budget.
oAdditional duties as assigned by the supervisor, not otherwise specified in this position description.
oShall adhere to all safety, health and environmental procedures, policies and practices, such as utilizing personal protective equipment and proper attire in keeping with safety standards.
WHAT ELSE YOU'LL NEED TO KNOW oAbility to regularly stand or work for long periods of time.
oAbility to regularly lift/ or move up to five (5) pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to twenty (20) pounds, and occasionally lift to forty (40) pounds.
oOccasional walking throughout the day.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
